I need some advice, This is DEFINITELY NOT SINISTER! I had my car stolen last night, It's a VN commodore 90 or 91 Model, The B***ARDS ripped the ignition apart and hotwired it, I am not in a great financial position to get it towed and need some advice to somehow start it to get it home, (they dumped it 1.5km from my home, on a side street.) Please, ANY HELP would be GREATLY appreciated.

I had given my reply, but just so as not to make "how to steal a VN" a publicly available piece of information, my main reply was moved to jed's inbox |

There's always some dropkick whom thinks he's "entitled" to steal your pride and joy because "society has done him wrong." I like to make it much harder for them. Both in the stealing, and the getting off the charges |

If ever you find that bonehead, just make it look like an accident lol. I can remember one country cop telling me that it's possible for a cop to injure one "juvenile delinquent" and make it look like an accident. Requires a paddy wagon.
"Constable, why does this man have a grid pattern on his face?" "Well Sarge, we were bringing him back to the station, and this huge dog ran across the road. We had to brake pretty hard to stop." |

I wonder whether there's actually a "criminal roll call" of the kind of idiots whom get honourable mentions in the Darwin Awards. The Darwin Awards; "chlorinating the gene pool by helping to weed out the intellectually challenged." To qualify for a Darwin, you have to be incapable of breeding, caused by an act of your own stupidity. Death is the usual qualifier, but if a bloke lost his knackers with his own kind of stupid, he would qualify. Typical example:
Two thieves broke into a junkyard, and set about stealing the engine from an old truck. Because said truck is a cab over type, the engine is lowered out from underneath. One of them started undoing the engine mounts while lying under it. (think about that for a moment. a tonne of cast iron is above you, and you're dismantling what's holding it up.) The end result was one failed and dead thief. The owner of the yard said, "we were going to junk that truck anyway. If he'd asked, I would have let him take it away." |
