Hey everyone, am getting sick of cooking in my car due to the lack of no tinted windows, have got a full set of legal limit tinted windows at home and was wondering if anyone can talk me step by step as to how i change these over. Really cant be bothered paying O'Briens to come and do it for me!!!!

I'd gladly push my holden than drive a bloody ford!

This is a direct quote from the service manual:

(After the door trims are removed)

1. Carefully prise off the interior and exterior strip mouldings at the top of the door.
2.Undo the bolts holding in the front channel for the window regulator

3. Temporarily connect the window winder/switch, and lower the window, but only enough to grip the glass.

4.With a firm grip on the glass, slide it forwards until it comes out of the roller channel, tilting the front downwards. If both rollers are off the track on the bottom of the glass, you should be able to lift it out. It's simply a case of reversing the process to put them back in, grease the tracks, and so on. Never done this on a VN, only Kingswoods.
