Hey, I was just wondering, I have a VN wagon, and I've got two ten inch subs which I'm gonna stick in the boot obviously, but I dunno where to put my 6x9s. Cause I don't wanna put them behind my subs because then the bass will just cut through them, it's a bit harder not having a parcel tray... So any ideas on where to put them would be much appreciated...

Since you're going to be running subs, the best spot for you to put your 6x9's is in the bin.
To create a rear sound stage, 6.5" three ways in the rear doors, or if you don't feel like cutting your doorskins, then 6.5" three ways fit very nicely in the side panels of the load area. Don't worry about having them behind the subs, that won't matter a whole heap. The doors would be the best spot, but the rear isn't too bad.
6x9's are (only just) okay if you don't have a sub. As soon as you drop a sub into the system, the best thing you can do for sound quality is ditch the 6x9's. |

| Okay, sweet, cheers for that. I just bought the car and it's only got the stock stereo, so as you can imagine, it's pretty hard to deal with when I have the subs and stuff sitting in my room, so cheers for the advice. |
