My 89 VN wants to have a killer sound system in, and I've picked out the perfect one for my baby. Problem is, i was thinkin the other day, Its on gas. Would the gas tank distort, or change the sound from the sub in the boot?
If so, any way to avoid it?
I'm open to suggestions.

bro it will be loud enough!! the only thing is you might loose some quality but the presence of the sub will def still be there! when the sub 'speaks' the noise will hit the tank, come back at the sub then straight back into the car so it should be fine! the sound waves will be a bit larger but yeh!
up to u really, from mi mates car it sounds loud enuf!! and hes got the largest gas tank u can get for a VN!

lol thats good, problem is I like quality, **** speakers piss me off. Thats why im going for the R type, bloody expensive, and getting an amp to power the thing!!
The loudness aint what bothers me, just as long as it doesnt sound ringy, or **** or somethin. Ill see if I can get the guy to test it before I buy.

Hopefully it'll be ok, nothing adds to music better than a good sub
