What state you in buddy??

What's the difference between understeer and oversteer?
Understeer is when the driver is scared.
Oversteer is when the passenger is scared.

I know for insurance you can not go more than 2.5 sizes above what is listed as the standard size fitted in the door tag. This is doesn't necessarily reflect for road worthy, but I would use it as a guide.

Cheers,

David

Biggest rim fitted stock to the VN model is a rough guide. 17x8 for the Group A , plus inch each way is safe and if you do that

put the Group A version of the wheel size sticker on your car.

This link should help you out:
http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/registration/downloads/vsi/vsi_dl1.html

Check out sheet number 9 for info on what wheels your allowed to have. You should find there are no restrictions other than the wheel must fit the vehicle properly & also be rated for the correct load. The other sheets will provide you with most of the legal info you would need for other common mods.

VN Sedan Series I.
Stock aside from steering wheel, airhorn & stereo system but is exceptionally tidy.
