Are the amps rigged into the ignition circuit?

ie do they turn off when the car turns off or are they running all the time, which could be why your battery is going flat

Most descent amps have a 'remote' connection, that normally gets wired to a switched 12V power supply, so that they only opperate when the ignition is turned on, or ideally, only when the stereo is turned on. If you can find the 'remote' terminal on the amps, just splice a wire from the positive lead for the cigarette lighter to the 'remote' terminal. If they don't have it, look at doing a relay setup so that they disconnect from the battery when the engine is off.

may need to look at your alternator or battery setup as well. my 3 amps and 3 12 inch subs needed a bigger battery and i also put a separte switch in the amp power wire so i can isolate the amps and trun them on and off at any time
