| welcome to the forums mate! i recommend you install some stiff srpings and good shocks if you want to tow a caravan, any questions just post them up! |

Another option that works well would be airbags in the rear springs. This way you can let them down when not towing giving you a comfortable ride instead of a bone jarring effect. Inexpensive and very effective. We used to have a set in mum and dads vp.

What's the difference between understeer and oversteer? Understeer is when the driver is scared. Oversteer is when the passenger is scared. |

| They are only a couple of hundred for the set. All they are a just little air bags that sit inside the rear springs and have a line running to them with valves on the end that you mount where you want to. When you are loaded go down to the servo and pump up to specified pressure. When unloaded release the pressure. All they are is an aid and dont actually replace any of the standard equipment. |

| to tell yhe truth, early commodores dont have the best brakes and suspension, i suggest getting new brake pads and machining the discs, and getting some upgraded springs and shock absorbers! and, depending on the size of the caravan get some trailer brakes as well. |

yeh as nodge said they have crappy brakes...well mine does atm lol ..if ya gonna replace the brake pads dont be stingy on what ya buy (as in go for cheap ones/poor quality) especially if u are going to be towing with the car
