Hey everyone, wondering if youse can help us out... i have a VN Sedan... i think its s2, and when i hit around 90-105k's... i get a strange rumbling sorta noise from under the floor... i thought it was a bit of cavity boom from the tailshaft, but i have put spacers in and it hasnt halted the sound...

Any help or words of advice from anyone would be greatly appreciated!

I had a rumble which was my exhaust rubbing on the cross member... luckily that's all it was as I thought it was something dire!

Other than that, I'm afraid I couldn't help.

sounds like the tailshafts centre bearing but another probable cause that fits the description is to check the transmission fluid level. could also be transmission mount, torque converter.

Cheers,
Nodg.

Cheers. I had already inspected the exhaust option thanks MILD50! Thanks for the suggestion though.

As for the bearing... i'll have to check that out! Cheers
