i bought my car about a month ago. it is now due for a service.
what lube, plugs, filters, leads and coolant u guys recommend?

castrol magnatec, ngk plugs gapped to 1.3mm(bpr6efs?), and go ryco for your fuel, oil and air filters. also grab some throttle body cleaner, read my how to for correct instructions.

yeahhh. i was thinking 'bout it. when you have just bought a car, you have no idea 'bout wot type of life the cars had. i think its better to personally do as much as you can yourself.
then u know its gonna b right, i never take the word of the person selling the car....never

I would have said stuff the magnatec... use some FUCHS oil... good ol 20/50W... Only coz my felt sluggish with the magnatec in it!

Make sure you change the oil and filter every 5000k's instead of 10,000... commodores really need the oil changed more regularly than others! Especially not knowing what sort of a life its had... Also... change it when its fairly warm... that way, any nasty lumps and clumps of **** in your oil will drain out with the warmth of the oil!

Definitely NGK plugs though... they're simply a step ahead of any of the others!
