Okay so it appears I asked a question and got a thread locked :s wtf...

Does anyone have any idea what else can be causing a '88 VN to stall, its not fuel, its something to do with idled, could it possible be a ECU or a ISC fault? or prehaps the new TPS has gone faulty alltho it never seemed to rev @ 800rpm even after the tps was replaced, it will also stall as soon as you start braking from 60kph...

thanks(lets see luck this time eh?)

I locked the thread cause it was a old topic .... thats wft! If your stalling like that did u reset the ecm when you installed the tps? Some error codes would be good, but there is a lot of things that come to mind.. IE crank angle sensor, vacum, dfi modual and there are more that I cant think of right now.... I guess Im saying alittle more info would be good m8 ...(lets see luck this time eh?)

How do I do a fault code check on a VN?
If this helps too, the car is a pig to start on cold mornings and puts up a struggle at the best of times?

I done a fault code check, it is reading 12 so trying to say its fine...

anything else i should look for?

Oh yes, the 2x hoses form the throttle body to the anti polution canister were not on the throttle body aswell... so i re-connected them and it still not idling correctly...
