Depending where your spraying it, if its a backyard job get acryllic paint, if its a proper spray booth and someone that knows what their doing, go enamel paint which you can get from any autobahn outlet.
Whatever type of paint you choose you will need the correct type of thinners & prep spray otherwise its not gong to turn out properly in the end. whats the current paint work like? if it not too bad and not rough get 1200 grit paper and give the whole car a light sand for the new prep/paint to stick to. If its rough get a lower grade sandpaper as well as the finer grit type and do it in sages. The key to making the entire job look good is in the prep work so its best to do it properly the first time around, dot make any shortcuts otherwise youll regret it! |
