Hey guys....
Can anyone help with a ticking noise from the engine?? Just started on my mates car.... thought to maybe replace sparks???
Any help is awesome.... Cheers!!

| Most likely the ticking is from the hydraylic lifters, after years they become gunked up and let off an annoying sound, best bet to beat it is put some engine flush in the motor, run it for 10 minutes, drain oil, fill up with new stuff, then add some nulon lifter free tuneup! |

| Thanks guys.... I kinda know what lifters sound like as I replaced them on my 75 HJ Holden, this ticking noise is a lot sharper, kinda like a sparking noise...?? Do you still reckon its the lifters as I am still new to the VN land...... |
