I have a VN V6 series 2 and the over flow bottle keeps boiling over when I turn the car off after 20mins or more of driving, the bottle shakes like it is going to pop the cap off, and than the water comes out the hose until bottle is empty. any ideas?

engines getting too hot, is the thermo fan kicking in and what temp is the gauge sitting on? by the sounds of things there may not be enough water in the cooling system and/or you could have a air leak causing the coolant to heat up and booil over in the overflow once you switch it off..

Cheers,
Nodg.

Thats the way to do it but make sure you dont have a permanent leak which will have you back at square one.. do a leak test a cooling shop will do this for nothing.

Cheers,
Nodg.
