next time if you wish to fit a set of 6x9's or even 7x10's try cutting your holes to fit the magnet just behind the seats where the parcel tray groves abit reason being underneath the parcell tray in that spot is a long grove in the metal that paired with a set of spacers will accomidate your bigger speakers i have 3 6x9's on my parcell tray and they pump another option which i have done is go to your local wreckers and find yourself a vx parcel tray you can pick them up for the price of a good set of speaker spaces they fit perfect and because they have the raised humps they work great and look great

i have an 89 executive with the factory 2 speaker system.and i have two spot welded covers under my parcel shelf.i asked Vic roads if i was allowed to knock them out to make way for some 6'' 3way's and they said aslong as other models of the same year have a 4 speaker setup then yes i am allowed to.its completely legal.its only illeagal to remove any more metal that isnt supposed to be removed.hope this helps

S is basically a step up from the executive and a step down from the SS. Just has a few more little bits and pieces such as upgraded brakes and some electrics in most cases. I am not sure exactly what it means but i think it just stands for Sports.

What's the difference between understeer and oversteer?
Understeer is when the driver is scared.
Oversteer is when the passenger is scared.

even on the early vn's that didnt have speakers standard, you can legally cut out the circles that are pressed on both sides of the parcel shelf. its when you go spastic with your tin snips and go outside the lines that it becomes illegal.

Cheers,
Nodg.
